The Best Way To Get Rid Of Acne Fast – 5 Easy Fixes

It really sucks when you have to suffer from acne in the first place, but it sucks even more if you can’t get rid of it as fast as you want. I have been looking for the best way to get rid of acne fast, and thanks to all the research I did and try, I have compiled the best ways for you.

Everyone suffers from a pimple here and there, and some of us get acne since we are 15 and it never really stopped. Blackheads, whiteheads, pustules and cysts, these are the devils we have to live with every day.

It screws with our self-esteem, if you are anything like me or the majority of people suffering from it, you know exactly how it feels. Trying thousands of ways to get rid of them, but they somehow seem to find their way back to our beautiful face.

Don’t feel bad though, you are not the lucky one or the unlucky one, acne is very common and about 80% of people are affected by acne at least once in their life.

The Best Of Aloe Vera

I am going to start with aloe vera, this is probably my favorite plant for so many reasons, but I won’t really get into that for now or else I will be writing a five thousand words article just about the benefits of aloe vera.

Aloe vera is known throughout the world for it’s moisturizing effect on our skin, that’s why it is one of the leading ingredients in a moisturizer.

Like I said earlier the benefits are almost infinity, but we’ll talk about the benefits it has on our skin and how it can be used to treat acne.

It possesses antibacterial and anti fungal properties that will help minimize or reduce the redness and inflammation caused by acne. It also speeds up the healing process of your skin immensely while applied regularly.

If you have some pigmentation problem as a result of acne, aloe vera can do the trick as well. It can lighten up the skin by reducing the scar’s appearance on the skin.

Aloe vera gel is very effective for treating acne, but it is three times more effective if used in combination with other ingredients like honey or lemon. Using it in combination with certain medications work as well, but consult with your doctor if that’s the case.

I could see great changes on my acne after using it, even faster result than some over the counter medication.

Fight The Temptation, Don’t Touch It

People don’t get it when they are being told not to pick on their face, I know it is very very tempting and you might even think that you are doing something good by removing the dirt and white stuff inside your pimple, but in fact you are doing more harm than good.

Dermatologist says that whenever you pick on your acne lesion, you will greatly improve the chances of developing scars, and the healing process will definitely be slowed down because of it.

I know this all too well, because just like you. I ignored what my dermatologist said to me and picked on them from time to time.

So learn from my mistake, don’t do it, just let your body do the work by using proper medication and you will see how much faster your acne heals.

Popping a pimple will for sure remove the stuff from the outer layer, and it may look as if your pimple is starting to heal faster, but what really happens to your skin is, you are actually pushing the dead cells and oil substance further down into the skin. This can lead to damaging the inside walls of your skin and the cause of inflammation.

Moisturize The Skin

The main reason for moisturizing your skin is to keep it hydrated, as simple as that. What you didn’t know is that this is the answer to the prevention of acne.

When your skin gets dry, the oil production will start to kick in, your sebaceous gland will start producing oil to make up for the dryness of your skin and will try to moisturize it. The over production of oil can cause your already acne prone skin to breakout even more.

Don’t take this for granted, if you want to see your skin heal faster get a recommended oil free moisturizer by your dermatologist or someone you know have the same skin type as you.

The Great Tea Tree Oil

Not many know about the tea tree oil and how beneficial it is for acne treatment. Those who do, knows how well it can fight against the acne causing bacteria, P.acnes.

I heard there are plenty of ways to use tea tree oil for acne, but the best way, the way I use for my acne is by mixing it together with water and then apply it directly on my face. Use a clean cotton pad and dab it into the water oil mixture and apply it on your face after washing it with lukewarm water.

In some study it was announced that tea tree oil is almost as effective as benzoyl peroxide in treating acne. The power it has is extremely similar to it.

Green Tea, Not Just To Drink

This one is my favorite, I visited Japan on my 18th birthday and I learned a ton about green tea. I also came to realize that the oldest people in the world lived in Japan, and so I was more than intrigued by their diet and lifestyle.

I was really in awe when I found out about the statistic, how long the average lifespan is of a Japanese.

So for this reason I stumbled upon the benefits of green tea, they are an extreme consumer or user of green tea. The beautician I encountered on my trip taught me about the effect green tea has when applied directly onto your skin.

Green tea is rich in antioxidants, help with inflammation reduction for your acne and can also lessen the sebum production in our glands, the first week of application was surprising to me. My pimples were at least two times smaller, not all of them, but some of them.

That’s why it is not surprising at all to find green tea in so many skin care products nowadays. If you are looking for a long term medication to keep your acne on check, read my review on the acne cream I use here.

I hope you guys enjoyed these few tricks for getting rid of your acne, quick and simple methods, it worked for me, give it a try and see how it works for you. If there are any questions are if you would like to share your experience, leave a comment down below.

    Hey there,

I’ve really enjoyed reading this article as you’ve provided us with tonnes of valuable information on fixing acne. From my point of view, I tend to think that Aloe Vera is the best because it does not have any side effects and its 100% natural. One might not have to spend any money because Aloe Vera can be found in a garden if you look for it. It took some time for me to get rid of acne but if you have enough patience, there’s no other way better than using an Aloe Vera.

Thanks a lot for taking your precious time in writing this article. Well Done!

Aloe Vera and Tea Tree Oil are great for use. I’ve been using aloe vera gel for my skin on legs and arms and the skin is smooth. I sometimes put tea tree oil on my nails after I remove the polish, but mostly on nose and palms, especially on winter. Green tea is wonderful, but I only drink it. After reading this, I will for sure use it on my face and rub on my skin. Thanks for this useful post.

    Best wishes,
    Susan

She is 14 years of age and uses tea tree to keep her skin clean regularly. Her skin is now calmer and does not become so greasy. She does not have to mix it with water and applies it directly to her skin. I will definitely share this article with her because there are more tips in it. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the great article. I wish I had this info when I was younger and really needed it. I lived in Florida so aloe was always around, if only I knew it had miracle properties! I appreciate how simple these techniques are and that they don’t require a large investment to buy into an expensive skincare program.
