Revitol Scar Cream Review – Why It’s Different From Others

Whenever something states that it will do this or it will do that, the first thing you will think about is whether that is true or not, you will be skeptical or doubtful, and that is completely normal if you ask me.

Don’t feel bad, it’s not just you and me, but the majority of people are like that, and that is exactly why I wrote a Revitol scar cream review, to explain to you in details why it’s different from others.

At the end of this review you will be completely informed and will have a vivid view on how to handle your scars, whether it’s from acne, injury or even surgery. Now let’s get right into the fun part shall we?

How Does Scar Cream Work?

First let’s talk about how a simple formulated cream can help you get rid of the remnants of an injury, how exactly does it work? and why we have them in the first place.

A scar is the end result of the healing process, whenever our body suffers from a trauma our body starts reacting to it and therefore the healing process will begin. Tissues will start to form and overlaps the area of the wound, this new tissue is called fibrous tissue. So scarring is part of the natural healing process, it means you are healthy.

The way scar cream works is actually very simple unless you make it complicated, the main goal is to flatten out the scar tissue, the fibrous tissue that’s made out of collagen and keep the skin as hydrated as possible. There are some ingredients that possess the ability to do that, but the more natural the ingredient is, the better, that’s for sure.

Is It Necessary To use One?

Now this actually depends on you, are you feeling less confident because of your scars? Are you feeling like it’s holding you back in your every day life even by a bit? Then the answer is, YES…absolutely yes.

You see, scars do heal overtime, but they don’t disappear completely and it takes forever to fade. Why go through all that suffering and some more if you can heal it, right?

I have scars from my previous battles with acne, and some from injuries when I was kid, and I am happy to say they’re gone. I know how it feels, especially if you have scars on your face, that’s what bothered me the most. I am a confident person, but when it comes to my face, I was always kinda passive aggressive with it.

If none of the above bothers you, and you feel completely fine with your scar, because like some people say, beauty comes from the inside then perhaps this review or any other review about scar cream isn’t for you…if not, keep on reading.

Why Revitol?

If you have some scars left from acne, this should be the perfect cream for your face, and part of your skin care routine. Just like most medication, some over the counter medication works great for some people and not so much for other.

I just wanted to put that out there for you, so you won’t point a finger to me or anyone that says that Revitol actually works, because what I’m telling you is, it worked for me and the majority of people I know.

Revitol is made up of all natural ingredients, just as I mentioned above, the more natural the ingredients, the better. The reason I say that is because, they have less side effects or they are minor ones as compared to chemically compound ingredients.

Here is a list of some ingredients found in Revitol of which I highly approve:

  1. Copper Peptide: This is probably the most honorable ingredient Revitol possess, copper peptide is naturally occurring in our body. It helps with the production of collagen, to refill the collagen tissue from the scars. The second thing it does is discoloration, it helps with the discoloration and smoothing out of the skin.
  2. Hydroquinone: The second ingredient of which I am a big fan of is this, hydroquinone is responsible for lowering the production of melanin in on our skin, and melanin is the reason our scars have this darker colour, simply said hydroquinone makes all the difference in giving back our scarred skin tissue its natural colour.

There are more ingredients of which Revitol scar cream is composed of, but these two ingredients are the most honorable mentions in my opinion just because of their effectiveness on the skin.

I have personally tried a few on my journey and most of those so called “high-end” scar creams are overpriced ranging from $100 to $500, and if that isn’t already a huge risk to gulp down, the effectiveness is mediocre at best, it may smoothen the skin here and there, but the scar is usually still very visible.

Whereas Revitol is slightly more expensive than a $30 over the counter scar removal cream, but does amazingly when it comes to reducing the appearance of scars, and that’s exactly what we want.

Are There Any Side Effects?

Personally, I have never experienced any side effects, BUT don’t get me wrong, me does not equal everyone. My cousin who uses the same scar cream as me has been experiencing some irritation at first and some drying of the skin.

Some of the side effects that you might possibly encounter are irritation, dryness of the skin, burning sensation and maybe even some itching, but it is completely normal, it’s just the way your skin react and adjust to the new medication. A little suffering for a whole life free of scars.

Unlike some scar removal cream, the side effects from this are very minor and almost non-existent.

How Long Before You Can Expect Result?

This is not a magic cream that works overnight by applying it in the morning and disappear while you sleep, no. It takes a while before you can see some result, but that’s actually an even better sign that something works, good thing takes time.

It could take anywhere from 3 weeks to a few months depending on the severity of your scar, but don’t give up half-way til you see your final result. For me it took me about 1.5 months of using the cream, but I kept on using it for another 1.5 month for good measure. I am confident to say, that I am proud of the action I took.

The Flaws

Besides all that greatness of this particular scar cream, there are some things I don’t particularly like. First of, it’s hard to get my hands on, now what I mean by that is, I can’t find it anywhere else but online, so I have to purchase it online every time.

I get mine through the official website here, you can probably find it elsewhere online, but it is most likely going to be a little more expensive or a counterfeit.

The second thing is the price, I know I said it’s cheaper than most high end creams, but I still think it’s a little expensive, unless you buy a few bottles at once, that will save you money and come out cheaper.

My Final Verdict

I definitely recommend it, the Revitol scar removal cream is one of the few creams which does exactly as it says. Sure enough it is not for everyone, but there isn’t one cream that has a success rate of 100%.

So my best advice is to do your own research, read some more reviews if necessary and then decide for yourself whether you should give it a try or not. When you do, be consistent and patient when you are using it, results will not happen right away.

I would really love to hear from you if you have any experience at all with the removal cream and if there’s any more question about the removal cream that you would like to know, just leave a comment below and I will try my best to answer them as soon as possible.

Oh, I am really excited to try this scar cream. About a year ago I had surgery on my wrist and it has left me with a clearly visible scar on the top of my left hand. I tried another cream over the summer but it really didn’t do anything for it.

It’s nice and flat but very purple in color and I don’t like it one bit. Let’s see if this cream will actually do the trick for me. I really hope that I am one of the people that it does work for. Thanks for the tip.

Hi Isaac, thanks for your honesty in your reviews of this and other products on your website. I have a lot scars on my body, from acne and also stretch marks from pregnancy and losing weight. I struggled with acne into my thirties, mostly on my back, shoulders and around my mouth. Thankfully, I don’t have to worry about that anymore as I am nearing closer to age sixty LOL! My husband has some scars on his face from wounds that took too long to heal, and I am wondering if this product might help with his scarring?

    • Isaac

      Hi, Madeleine

Sixty is still very young! Don’t stop taking care of your skin, and for your husband, yes, definitely. This scar removal cream works on all kind of skin type and regardless of age, so definitely tell your husband to give it a go, and I more than welcome to hear from your experience afterwards.

Hi! Thank you very much for this recommendation. I respect your site and you always give good advice so I’ll try Revitol Scar Cream.

I had been researching about Copper Peptide, and was really impressed with all its benefits concerning skincare. It’s produced naturally in our bodies and it actively works in wound healing, and has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. I’m glad Revitol has it among its ingredients.

    • Isaac

Hi Isaac, this is a very informative article! I’ve never heard of this cream before. As I can see, this really gives results. My cousin has a scar on his leg, and it is now smaller, but hasn’t gone yet and years have passed by. So, maybe I could send this to him, to tell him about the cream and to read this article so that he can be sure that it is worthy of trying. Thanks,Susan

  • Karin Nauber

Thanks for the review of the Revitol Scar Cream. I wish I had heard of this cream after I had my thyroid surgery. I have a big scar on my neck from that. I had the surgery about a year and a half ago. Do you think or know if the Revitol would work on a scar that old? I’m not overly self-conscious about it, but if I could lessen the dark color that would be a plus. I look forward to your reply and trying this cream out. Thanks again.

    • Isaac
