Natural Ways To Get Rid Of Wrinkles – Look Younger Now

Remember when your face used to be smooth and shiny? that even on a bad day or a full day of working, it still looked really smooth after washing your face?

As we get older and older, our skin aren’t as stretchy anymore, we start to develop wrinkles. It is completely possible to get it back, I will show you the natural ways to get rid of wrinkles here.

Before I show you the natural ways, I would like you to think about the last time you remember having a wrinkle-less face.

Aging is a part of life as we know, it is inevitable, but there are plenty of ways to slow it down and therefore keeping our skin healthier and younger.

Wrinkles develop due to aging, diet and some environmental factors.

Fruits That Can Do Wonders

Fruits are important for so many reasons, a delicious orange that weighs around 100 grams is packed with nutrients and multiple vitamins such as vitamin A, B and C which are essential in our diet.

Here are the top 3 fruits which I consider to be extraordinary for your skin.

BANANAS

Bananas are very delicious, I love eating it, but there’s one more thing we can use banana for, and that’s our face.

Banana peel has an antioxidant which is called lutein. Ultraviolet lights are extremely damaging to the skin, and lutein protects your skin from it.

Rub the peel for 10 minutes long, cover every area of your face and when the peel starts to turn into this brownish colour, that’s when you throw it away. You can mash the banana itself after it’s peeled and make a thick paste out of it and apply that on your face.

Let it sit for about 30 minutes to an hour before washing it off and you will notice that your face starts to feel smoother and smoother.

PINEAPPLE

Pineapple on a pizza? Something people freak out for, but what about pineapple on your face? Pineapple has plentiful benefits, rich in antioxidants and vitamins. The antioxidants found in pineapples can protect your skin against cell damage.

It moisturizes the skin and keeps the elasticity of your skin. The wide array of benefits you get from pineapple does not stop from consuming only.

So the next time you plan on eating a pineapple, rub some freshly cut pineapple on your face and let it sit for about 20 minutes, after it dries out wash it off with some below room temperate water, not too cold.

LEMON

I don’t particularly like to drink lemon juice or eat lemon itself, but I have to admit that it is one of the master fruits, what I mean by that is, the benefits you get for something as cheap and as small as this is almost unimaginable.

Some people say if you mix vitamin E with lemon and apply it directly onto your face it will remove the wrinkles right away, even though I don’t believe that, I do believe that lemon can help, but just not as fast as you may think.

The way I use lemon is by mixing it together with honey, after mixing it I will let it sit for about 5 minutes before applying on my clean face.

After you apply it, let it sit for about 15-20 minutes before rinsing it off with some cold water and then dry off your face with a clean towel.

Actually almost anything that’s rich in vitamin C can be applied onto your face, vitamin C improves the production of collagen in our skin.

The Sun Isn’t As Pretty As It Looks

I am sure you have heard about the damage ultraviolet lights can cause on your skin when exposed without proper protection. Sunscreen or sun lotion is extremely important for a reason, it’s not just to be fancy to have it on your daily skin care routine.

Here’s the sunscreen I use and like, I put it on every single day whenever I go out, even if it’s just for a 15 minutes walk to the store or market.

This has been scientifically proven to prevent your skin for getting more wrinkles, the elasticity of your skin will get damaged when you’re exposed to the sun for a long period of time without protection.

Don’t take this for granted and just take the extra 5 minutes to put on some sunscreen.

Egg Whites For The Face

One of the most unexpected natural remedy for wrinkles is probably egg whites, egg whites can do wonders to your health, your skin included. The protein, antioxidants and vitamins found in egg white helps tone and tighten the skin, so break an egg or two, mix it up in a bowl and start applying.

Wash your face after 20 minutes with lukewarm water to rinse of the dry egg white, and the skin on your face will start to look smoother and brighter.

Egg white also possess anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce swelling and puffiness. You can apply some under your eye bag while you’re at it to receive the maximum benefit.

Be Careful Of Your Sugar Intake

I think the reason I had a lot of wrinkles in my early 20s is solely because of my sugar intake. I have a sweet tooth and it is extremely hard to laid off the Twinkies, I know some of you can relate.

Even though I still eat a cupcake or a chocolate bar now and then, I tried to limit the amount of sugar I consume.

High amount of sugar intake can cause damage to the collagen molecules, and that will lead to faster aging. Faster aging will then lead to wrinkles and sagging of the skin.

It is recommended by doctors to limit your sugar intake to only 10% of your daily caloric intake.

Limiting the amount of sugar you consume daily can only be beneficial, your weight will be in better control, your skin will look younger and your overall health will go up.

Don’t Put On More Stress

Lets all just face it, we are all getting older and not younger, at some point we will get wrinkles and it is inevitable. The key is to look 30 while you’re 50 and 40 when you’re 60 or 70. So don’t take this for granted and take care of your skin, get used to a proper skin care routine.

I hope you enjoyed this article and I hope it helped you get rid of your wrinkles, just listen to what I said and take action, you will see results in time. Let me know how you got rid of your wrinkles or if you know any other ways to do it, leave a comment below.

    Hey Isaac,

I’ve really enjoyed reading this article as you’ve provided us with tonnes of valuable information on “Natural Ways To Get Rid Of Wrinkles”. Most of us actually throw away banana peels after consuming the fruit but the peel itself does miracles to your skin. From my perspective, I tend to think that banana peel is the best option to go for because it has worked for me and it doesn’t have any side effects.

I’ll share this article with some of my close friends and family members. Thanks a lot for taking your precious time in writing this post. Keep up the good work Isaac!

Extraordinary! Thank you for providing the top 3 fruit that can really help get rid of wrinkles and look younger. I have heard some things about bananas and lemons but never pineapple. this is the first time I have seen so much explanation on how each of these fruit work and how to use them. Are there any benefits to getting rid of wrinkles just by eating these fruit? I’m not sure I can manage to put egg whites on my face though. Prefer to stick with fruit.

    • Isaac

      Hi Paul,

Extraordinary, but effective. Of course you can consume these fruits, but they won’t have the same effect as if they were applied on your face. Why not the egg whites? They are pretty effective in my experience. Best of luck!

Hi there!I think this is great what you shared about the plants! This is the most natural way to protect your skin.I suffered from Squamous Cell Carcinoma, a skin cancer, so I can relate to the sun not being our friend LOL.I used an all natural cure for the cancer and treat my skin with the oil. I worry about the contact with the sun. Do you think using an essential oil on your skin can make it burn more now? I wear long sleeve shirts out in the sun all the time.Don’t think me stupid but I am assuming you use the inside raw part of the banana peel on your face right??onward n upwardcaptdennis

      Hi Dennis,

I’m happy you are so open with your experience and life. I think using essential oil is a good way to go, but perhaps you can try and see if it works for you. And yes, Dennis, the inside part of the banana peel, best of luck!

Thank you for sharing these natural ways on how to avoid wrinkles and look younger.

You’re absolutely right, aging is a part of life. Everybody grows old and whether we like it or not, there’s coming a time when our skin will not be as smooth and stretchy as it used to be. But don’t we all wish we could age wrinkle-free?

When I was younger (I’m in my early 40’s now), it never occurred to me to take care of my skin early on so I will not have to worry too much about getting wrinkles as I age. Of course, it’s not yet too late to start caring more for our skin no matter how old we are.

I have heard about applying egg whites on our face but I never dared to try it because I thought it was just some myth, lol. But now that you mentioned it, I might give it a try one of these days. Staying longer than necessary under the sun and getting stressed are definitely a NO-NO to me because I know how they badly affect the skin. I do love these fruits you mentioned, especially bananas and pineapples so I have no problem eating more of them.

And if I may add, I’d say drinking lots and lots of water can also help do the trick as it helps to keep us hydrated which in effect makes our skin healthier and younger-looking; and also getting enough rest and sleep (not less than 7 hours) is advisable.

      Hi Alice,

Definitely, even if you are 50 and above, doesn’t mean you should stop taking care of your skin, always use a proper skin care routine. I have personally tried the egg whites, and so did my mom, and I can say, I am quite impressed by it.

Drinking a lot of water definitely keeps your skin hydrated and that can lead to better skin health, I agree 100% Alice, thanks for the extra tip!

I am 30, I don’t have so many wrinkles yet but I do have the odd one here and there and I feel my skin is not the quality it used to be. Thanks for your helpful tips:)

    • Isaac

      Hey Hollie,

I think you are doing great, you probably look more like 20! I am glad you liked it, more tips are coming.

      Best of luck, Hollie!
