Natural Anti Aging Secrets – Never Too Late To Look young

When you reach a certain age, and it doesn’t even matter if you look like Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Selena Gomez or even Mariah Carey you will get older and age will start to show, physically and mentally.

This will be the time when you start looking for natural anti aging secrets, to help you slow down aging IF possible.

And it is perfectly normal, if you could look younger by slowing down the way your body grows or your skin in particular, I don’t see why you or anyone else shouldn’t.

Defying Age

I am always left confused whenever I see someone that looks like they are in their mid 20s or 30s, while people tell me they are in fact 40+. Since then, I started looking into it and learn about the natural ways we can achieve to have a look that defies age.

If we look at Jennifer Anniston for example, we know the famous TV series “friends” has ended decades ago, but yet there she is, looking like the Rachel Green we first saw on TV…how crazy is that?

This is not even a myth, there are millions of people who look way younger than they are supposed to look, and you can be one of those people if you implement what they are doing. Same diet and same lifestyle, see what works and what does not.

Start With The Basics, Exercise!

Yes, exercising is one of the first secret to anti aging since the old age, it is also the most well know secret there is. Whenever you visit your doctor and ask him about the most natural way there is to keep you young, his answer would most likely be “exercise”. There is a reason they call it the youth serum after all.

Exercising helps you with proper blood flow throughout your body, and your blood is the reason your body gets the oxygen it needs to function properly, fighting off unwanted bacteria, repairing your skin by creating new cells and much more.

The stretchiness of your skin becomes much more elastic as well, and that means fewer wrinkles for you.

When you mention exercise most people think of the gym, what if I tell you this, you don’t need the gym to exercise, to have an active lifestyle.

Exercising is just making sure you move your body enough to make your heart pump faster, break a sweat, that’s all. You don’t need to be in the gym for hours end.

A Sea Full Of Tea

Have you ever wondered why Japanese always look so youthful and why they outlive almost every other people from other countries? I wouldn’t say it is solely because of the usage of green tea, but green tea does have a big impact on the way they live, their diet and lifestyle.

You can notice the difference between Japanese people that are using green tea and those that are not, the ones that do are the ones that have a longer lifespan.

Green tea has an anti-inflammatory and anti-aging effect on our skin, they are also packed with anti-oxidants. If you didn’t already know, anti-oxidants help against aging and it also has the ability to fight against cancer cells. There are some green tea masks available online, specially made to exfoliate and hydrate the face, helps against wrinkles and such.

The benefits you can get from green tea is vast, here are some top 3 benefits you can get in my opinion:

  • It slows down aging, the anti-oxidants found in green tea, especially Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is responsible for slowing down the way your cells grow.
  • It keeps the knees healthy and strong, another anti-oxidant found in green tea is, polyphenols. Polyphenols is said to minimize the inflammation and slow down cartilage damage. This is why green tea is used very often in Asian countries against joint pain and inflammation.
  • It protects your face and skin in general, drinking green tea helps to hydrate the skin around your face, it moisturizes it. It can be applied directly onto the skin as well as a facial mask. Last but not least, it can protect your skin from the harmful UVA and UVB.

Limit Your Sugar Intake

Mankind has known and consumed sugar since the early days, produced by sugarcane. Sugar is the culprit for almost every bad thing there is on your body, diabetes, obesity, cancer and even acne.

Whenever you consume processed sugar, be careful not to overdo it, even a small amount of it can cause your skin to wrinkle and dehydrate more, that in turn will cause your skin to age faster than it should.

So long story short, if the amount of sugar you consume is much greater than the amount of sugar your cells can produce, a protein named collagen that is responsible for keeping your skin smooth and healthy can be damaged and therefor your skin will age faster and look older.

This is in my opinion one of the most important secret there is to anti-aging.

Aloe Vera

When it comes to fighting age in the most natural ways, aloe vera is definitely on the list. Aloe vera is said to fight against aging by moisturizing the skin and keeping it hydrated, all the minerals and vitamins found in aloe vera keeps providing your skin a dose of healthiness.

The beta carotene, vitamin E and C found in aloe vera helps keep the skin firm and healthy. Studies show that when aloe vera gel is used on the skin, the skin’s elasticity is improved. There are even scientific evidence saying that aloe vera can reverse aging.

This secret may not sound like much, but believe it or not, the amount of things aloe vera can do for your skin is insane. The effort you put in to get it is nothing compared to the benefits you can get.

    Thank you for your post.

I’m a 42 year old man and, aside from the added waistline I’m noticing, I’m starting to see some aging signs.

Exercise…the dreaded truth.  I literally sit for a living.  I’m doing more to try and move around and be less sedimentary.  I’ve built a sit/stand desk and picked up a Bowflex elliptical machine.

Sugar..man, you’re tough. I live for this stuff!  This one’s going to be difficult for me.

I went to China last year and picked up green tea to brew as well as concentrated pills.  I have to say I do think they do make a difference.

I’ve only used Aloe Vera for sunburns.  I was not aware of the benefits of daily use.  I’ll have to look into it further.  Do you have a recommended product I should consider?

    Thanks again.

    Hi Isaac,

I absolutely loved the reading! I am over forty, and I am so scared of getting older:) You have provided excellent tips. I didn’t know that Aloe Vera is so beneficial for the skin. I grow Aloe Vera in my garden, and I have plenty of it. I do have a question. Can I put the Aloe Vera I have in my yard on my skin or do I have to buy a gel?

    Thank you very much!

    • Isaac

Hello Daniella, thank you for taking the time to read this and I am glad you love it. Personally I think it works best in gel form, perhaps you can try that first.

I would love to take green tea and as well as Aloe Vera Gel. Gym exercise is not for me since I have not enough time now for that. But I can do some light exercise for few minutes.

I enjoyed this very helpful article on aging skin!

My wife always tells me that, even though she’s older than I am, that I look much older than her. Considering we’re in our 50s, that’s not good!

So reading about the Japanese relationship with green tea and the benefits from it, I wonder if you are talking about them drinking it, or applying it? In a couple of references, it is clear that they are applying it, but I don’t know about some of them.

As far as drinking tea goes, I have recently taken up drinking black tea. Does that have any of the same benefits?

For now, it sounds like I could put up a strong fight against this aging process by beginning to use up the Aloe Vera that I have left from the Summer sun season. I always think about my skin when it’s sunny, but I never have given any thought to taking care of my skin in the Fall or the Winter months.

I will try it out when my wife’s not looking! Maybe I can sneak up on her youthful appearance with some healthy skin of my own!

    Thank you for this information!

    • Isaac

Hi John, black tea is really good for your health and skin too, it also has a lot of anti-oxidants. The difference being the oxidation , green tea is less oxidized. Drinking green tea is great, drinking and applying green tea masks for example works even better. Best of luck!

ps. Your wife would be one happy girl 🙂

      Isaac
