2 Best Topical Acne Treatments of 2019 – Too Real?

A lot of companies will feed you with lies like the best topical acne treatment you need to help you get rid of your acne forever and that they will be at your disposal whenever you plan on trying their product (Buy it).

That’s how this world works nowadays, people will do anything for money, they will tell you whatever it is that you want to or need to hear.

But with no proof or results to show whatsoever, would you still trust them? I guess not. Here’s a review of two of the best acne treatment there is.

I am familiar with these companies, because I have been scammed more than once and wasted a lot of money buying into their stuffs. And the reason I fell for it, is that I was in desperate need of a solution, since I was suffering from mild acne.

If you are here because of the same reason, to get rid of your acne then you have come to the right place. Instead of just buying into whatever high-end topical acne product you see on the internet or on amazon, let me help you decide what the best topical acne treatment is for you.

What Makes An Acne Treatment “The Best” There Is?

First let’s talk about how to decide whether an acne treatment can be considered great or not before saying that it is the best there is.

For an acne treatment cream to be effective and great, there are a few things I personally look at and consider before purchasing.

1. What kind of ingredients is the acne cream made of? Look for all natural or at least 90% all natural ingredients.

2. Read testimonials or acne cream reviews about the product. Look for testimonials on the original website if there’s any, that’s a plus point if there is.

3. Look for a cream that offers free trial and a money back guarantee policy. This shows that the company actually cares about you and is giving you the option of a free trial.

And here is a list I complied for you for the things you should look out for that might cloud your decision.

1. Don’t buy an acne cream because it looks luxurious or pretty, the inside is more important than the outside. Now what I mean by this is, don’t go looking for the most attractive or best looking bottle or container that says acne cream.

2. Don’t buy an acne cream without a proper label with all the ingredients written on it, take your time when you look for one.

3. Don’t be fooled by the price, a lot of high-end products on the market are not very promising, they don’t deliver what they say they will. Expensive does not necessarily mean good, let that sink in.

There are however some products that are extremely expensive, but they work. Now that leads to my next point, I am not going to give you a list of the 10 or 12 best treatment for acne and pimples that may or may not work. Unless it’s about microdermabrasion machines with different features.

It sounds fake and not genuine enough to be true, why would someone recommend you 10 similar products in the first place? Because they are uncertain which one is actually going to work, makes sense?

There’s nothing wrong with that, trial and error is what I believe in as well, but if you have to try 10 different acne creams before one might actually work, that will cost you a little too much, don’t you think?

That’s why I am only going to recommend to you, two of the best topical acne treatment that WORKS.

#1 Revitol Acnezine

Overview

The first one of my two recommendation is Revitol Acnezine. This is my honest acnezine review, this acne skin care system is formulated to tackle down your acne from the inside out, one of the reason why this work so well.

The whole package comes with a complete revolutionized acne system. It comes with a moisturizing acne cream and a bottle of acnezine skin antioxidant capsules for you to take orally.

The magic happens when they are used together, that’s what I meant with tackling down your acne from the inside out, its main focus is the root cause of the problem.

  • Product: Revitol Acnezine
  • Price: $59.95
  • Rating: 4.5 out of 5
  • Cheapest place to buy: Acnezine.com

The Ingredients of Revitol Acnezine

The acnezine supplementary capsules has a variety of vitamins and natural ingredients that work extremely well together because they have been lab tested by talented dermatologists.

Here are some ingredients found inside the gelatin capsules:

– Vitamin E Acetate (20 iu)

– Vitamin C Ester (50 mg)

– Hydrolyzed Collagen (250 mg)

– Hyaluronic Acid (10 mg)

– Aloe Vera

These are just some natural ingredients and vitamins found inside the capsule, you can rest your head, because they picked out the best ingredient to fit in this perfect formula that cleanse the inside by pushing out all the unwanted bacteria to the surface.

And that’s half the work done.

The Revitol Acnezine treatment cream will help you annihilate all the left over bacteria clogging your pores and then moisturized it. This is the complete makeover for your face.

The main ingredient found in the Revitol cream is benzoyl peroxide, this active ingredient fights against acne, and is one of the two leading ingredients aside from salicylic acid that is the most effective in this war. And the benzoyl peroxide cream comes with a strength of 5%, strong enough for your acne and easy on the skin.

What To Expect and How Fast

When I first started using Revitol’s acnezine, I was a little skeptical just like you. Not because of the product itself, but mostly because I have tried one too many of these creams and got a little hopeless.

But not enough for me to stop trying, I persevered and kept on using the Revitol Acnezine for about 3-4 weeks, and guess what I started seeing great results, not exactly what I expected yet, but it was well on its way.

But before I saw the results of my acne improvement, I actually started seeing my acne getting worse in the first couple of weeks of application.

The reason I didn’t give up is that my dermatologist once told me that your skin will react differently to a product for the first time, and it takes about 4 weeks for your skin to adapt to this new product.

In other words, my skin was adapting to this new cream a little sooner than the average person, it is either that or the acnezine is just that skin friendly for your skin to adapt so easily. Personally I think it is the latter.

The only regret I had up until that point was not having purchased enough for the next 4 weeks or a month, and I had to wait for another month without using it, because the products are sold out pretty fast. Lesson learned!

The second time I started using it, after my little break because I couldn’t get my hands on some more of the Revitol cream, was breathtaking. This time I started seeing improvement in as little as 1 week, I was stoked.

Revitol’s Flaws

The flaws I see in Revitol’s Acnezine are not too big of a flaw, but it is still considered a flaw in my opinion. The side effects you get from using this can be a little bit extreme, just like it was in my case.

I started breaking out twice as much, my skin got dryer and also a little irritated. But everyone’s skin is different, the side effects one experience can be slightly worse or slightly better.

My cousin who used this had very mild side effect, like redness, and that’s it.

It is perfectly fine though, I think it is a very good price you have to pay, considering what you will get afterwards…a completely smooth and acne free face.

One more thing, another flaw could be the price which can be dramatically cut off when ordering 3 bottles at once.

#2 Dermology Acne Solution

Overview

The Dermology Acne Solution is almost identical to the Revitol Acnezine, it targets the acne from the root. A complete acne skin care system that will work from the inside out. It comes with a jar of acne treatment cream and a bottle of skin antioxidants.

The antioxidants capsule works from the inside, while the acne treatment cream works from the outside, together they will tackle your acne problem from both sides. Most acne treatments are only from either the outside or the inside, hardly ever both. That’s why Dermology is so differently and without doubts more efficient and effective.

The Ingredients Of Dermology

The ingredients found in the Dermology acne treatment system is all natural. They have mixed together one of the best ingredients there is naturally that will target acne from both sides, inside and out. They work similar to antibiotics for acne.

Here’s a list of the ingredients:

– Vitamin E

– Pantothenic Acid

– Resveratrol

– Sandalwood

These ingredients will help against inflammation and blemishes, and it also stops the growth of bacteria, that’s why the Dermology acne cream does not only get rid of the existing pimples and blemishes, but it will prevent your skin from getting a new breakout.

How Long Before You Can See Results?

The working time of Dermology is about 4 weeks, you can expect to see a dramatic improvement after the 5-week period. The key here is consistency, the more often and the more consistent you are with using Dermology, the quicker you will see your skin glowing without a single pimple on the face.

Now of course you shouldn’t overdo it by applying it more than the recommended amount, which is just twice a day. Dermology has proven over and over again that it is working, the only thing you have to do is be patient and be consistent.

It could take you more than 4 weeks to improvement, but that doesn’t mean it is not working. Your skin is not the same as someone else’s.

The Flaws in Dermology

Like most acne cream, the flaws you can find in Dermology is the side effects, it can be a little bit intimidating at first. You are very likely to breakout more before you start seeing results. Some redness, irritation of the skin, flakiness and dryness are all common side effects which you might encounter when using the Dermology Acne Solution.

One more personal flaw I would give to Dermology is that this complete acne skin care system is not for everyone, but if you ask me whether it works or not, I would say yes, but not for everyone.

The only way you would know is by giving it a chance, with their free trial offer, you have nothing to lose. If it works, jackpot. If it doesn’t, move on to my first recommendation as simple as that.

My Verdict

I would say these are two of the few complete acne skin care systems on the market that doesn’t cost a thousand dollar, and works quite effectively on your acne.

The difference of these two depends solely on your skin, I have said this over and over again, your skin is unique and it should be admired for its uniqueness.

There could be something inside the Revitol which cannot be found within Dermology, that’s why one of them could work like magic while the other does not.

With that being said, they may not work for everyone, but I am confident enough to say that people using this can expect some great relieving results.

The best option is to try and see for yourself, together with a proper skin care routine this will help you get rid of your acne once and for all. The next step would be maintaining this routine. If you are looking for a skin care routine, here’s my personal skin care regime for acne.

I hope you can find value on my honest opinions about this two products, and if you have any question at all feel free to ask, I will answer them without hesitation. So please leave a comment and I will get to you soon.

      Hi Barbara,

You are welcome, I completely understand how he feels, I have been there, and it is harder than you think!

Both are said to work on adults and teenagers, but personally, I would try the Revitol’s Acnezine first and see how that works on his skin.

      Best of luck, Barbara.

What a thorough review. I tend to be leary of just about everything that I come across online. I have been scammed a time or two myself and I really can’t afford it anylonger.

I am familiar with acne products infact I am a fan of Dermology Acne Solution and I can attest to the fact that it is highly durable and not too expensive to purchase.

Obviously its pros outweighs its cons which makes it much more recommendable.

    Thanks for the eye opener

    • Isaac

      Hi Ola,

Thank you and you are welcome, I know how you feel. I have been scammed over one too many times as well.

Glad you had great experience with the Dermology Acne Solution, and thank you for sharing your experience with us.

Definitely worth the price and some more!

    Hi,

I’ve been suffering from acne ever since I was a teenager. In elementary biology class, we were taught that I would go away on its own after our puberty years, but this hasn’t been the case.

I am glad I am reading an honest review from someone who actually used a product that is proven to work. Acne causes a lot of embarrassment and I really need to get rid of them.

I would love to try out the Revitol’s acnezine since it fights the root cause of my acne problem. It is really remarkable that the company is offering a free trial. This is a sign of confidence in their product. With an average rating of 4.5 out of 5, this is certainly an awesome product. Who would have thought I can get rid of my acne problem within 4 weeks by spending just about 60 bucks.

I have a quick question though – I have the habit of pinching at my acne, resulting in black spots, do you think Revitol’s acnezine can clear away the black areas?

    • Isaac

      Hello Phranell,

An honest review that comes right out of the heart, because I know how acne sufferers feel!

Acne doesn’t go away on its own, from what I know you have to take actions to cure your acne or else it will get worse over time.

You can definitely try Revitol’s Acnezine and get rid of those black spots or scar caused by your pimples, I hope to hear from you again after its gone!

      Best of luck.

I have little or no knowledge about dermatology, and would rather act on testimonials and reviews. The problem with a good acne control product is usually the exorbitant price tag, and its always !make it look as if it must certainly work. Many time we are met with disappointment.

With the good job you have done on the review of these products its certainly clear you know your mettle. I have learnt  a whole lot from your review and I will forever be grateful.

    • Isaac

      Hey Olalekan,

I am more grateful than you are for giving me the opportunity to enlighten you with my honest opinions!

Thank you for your compliment and I am glad you found value in it. Best of luck!

I belong to a community where, most people have acne problems. Like 8 out of every 10 young adult has some degree of acne problem.

And although I’m not prone to acne breakouts, I sincerely see it as a matter of concern. 1,because I have to deal with looking at acne covered faces most of the time and 2, because, I sincerely sympathize with them.

My brothers have to deal with acne alot. And, although they try alot of products, they only get small results, a few times.

So, I think that from your reviews of Dermology Acne Solution and Revitol Acnezine, I can confidently recommend them and my acne prone friends to the products.

I wanted to know, if the products treat black spots caused by acne, too.

    • Isaac

      Hello Peace,

Do you mind if I ask where this community of your is located? And yes, definitely give it a try, tell your brothers to be patient when they don’t see results right away.

      The key here is persistence.

And yes they do, they are quite effective for blackheads and whiteheads.

      Best of luck.

Thanks for your honest review on 2 best Topical Acne Treatments for 2019. I really love the fact that you mentioned your experience with using the Revitol Acnezine treatment and as well both positive and negative effects of this product including the Dermology treatment. Both prices are affordable in my opinion. I don’t have acne but I will surely recommend this for my cousin having this on her face.

    • Isaac

      Hey Olalekan,

Thanks for reading and leaving a comment and feedback.

The prices are even better when you order them in 2 and 3 doses, saves you money. Cheaper than a Mcdonald’s meal 🙂

Thanks for sharing it your cousin and anyone else who needs it.

  • Garen

I guess it safe to say you can’t judge a bottle of acne treatment by the bottle.

What is sad is a lot of these OTC treatments will really dry out your skin. I found this out the hard way over the years.

In regards to aloe vera do you happen to know if the gel works as well as the oil that comes from the plant, though?

I know that sandalwood is good for skin, but didn’t realize it was a good acne treatment, too. I do love the smell of sandalwood.

I am certainly going to try one of these products out. I do have some acne on my shoulders. It seems to only happen in the winter time. Have any idea why?

    • Isaac

      Hello Garen,

Exactly, not just an acne bottle, but mostly everything in life, don’t judge a book by its cover:)

I am sure the gel works much better, because that’s what most skin care product use and not the oil.

Definitely give it a try and tell me about your experience, remember, patience is key.

It could be due to temperature changes? since bacteria grows easier when temperature changes. But for all certainty, ask your dermatologist.

      Best of luck!
